Design & experience

Design decisions backed by evidence, not taste

Good design is measurable. We run research, map journeys, prototype and test — then hand over a design system your developers can build from without guessing. Every recommendation ties back to a metric: conversion rate, task completion, support volume or revenue per session.

What's included in  UI/UX Design

The capabilities we bring to the engagement — scoped to what your business actually needs, not a fixed package.

Research & discovery

Interviews, session recordings, analytics and heuristic review to find where users actually struggle.

Journey & IA mapping

End-to-end journeys, navigation and information architecture validated with tree tests before visuals.

UI design & prototyping

High-fidelity interfaces and interactive prototypes covering empty, loading and error states — not just the happy path.

Conversion design

PDP, cart and checkout work driven by funnel data, shipped as testable hypotheses rather than opinions.

Design systems

Tokens, components and usage rules in Figma, mapped one-to-one to the coded component library.

Accessibility

WCAG 2.2 AA as the default — contrast, focus order, keyboard paths and screen-reader flows checked, not assumed.

What you actually receive

Every engagement ends with assets your team owns and can maintain — documented, tested and handed over properly.

  • Research findings with prioritised, evidence-backed recommendations
  • Journey maps and information architecture for the target experience
  • High-fidelity designs and an interactive prototype across breakpoints
  • Design system with tokens, components and usage documentation
  • Accessibility annotations and developer handover notes

How we  work together

A predictable rhythm, with something reviewable in your hands at the end of every stage.

  1. Step 1

    Understand

Stakeholder interviews, analytics review and user research to establish the real problem and its baseline.

  2. Step 2

    Frame

Journeys, IA and wireframes agreed before any visual design, so structure debates happen cheaply.

  3. Step 3

    Design & test

High-fidelity design and prototypes validated with users, then refined against what testing shows.

  4. Step 4

    Hand over & measure

Annotated specs and a design system for engineering, then measurement of the metrics we set out to move.

Common questions

Something not covered here? Ask us directly.

Do you design without building?

Yes — plenty of clients bring us in for design only and hand it to their own engineers. Because we build too, the handover tends to be more practical: real states, real constraints, tokens that map to code.

How do you prove design work paid off?

We agree the metric and its baseline before starting — conversion rate, task completion, support tickets, revenue per session — and where traffic allows we validate changes with structured tests rather than declaring victory at launch.

Can you work with our existing brand?

Yes. Most engagements extend an existing brand into a proper product design system rather than rebranding. If the brand itself is blocking usability, we'll show you where and why.
